For Weird Wednesday we had people tell us which TV commercials bothered them the most. Congratulations to our winner by a landslide, The Charter/Spectrum "Beatbox" ad where they sing their phone number while the guy makes the "boom boom" noise throughout...

We now know the word of the year for 2015...and it's something that causing quite a dent in our couches. According to the Collins Dictionary we have a few new definitions that will be added to their annual vocabulary round-up.

As you're probably already aware by now a tragedy befell the world yesterday... yep, the Belly Dancing Channel in Cairo, Egypt went out of business. As they say, it went ____'s up! Now a middle aged man like me can make his belly dance but frankly I don't think anyone is about to make a channel out of that and I personally would pay higher cable rates to keep from having to see it...
