The Avengers

Plenty of ink has been spilled concerning the extraordinary success of 'The Avengers' but with "Phase 2" of Marvel's cinematic slate about to begin, we're going to be spilling even more. 'Avengers 2' doesn't hit theaters for over two years but that doesn't mean we can't start looking forward to the biggest sequel in modern movie history. With 'Thor 2,' 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and 'Captain America 2' all filming this year, a start of production on 'Avengers 2' can't be that far off and now we know when it will begin.

While 'The Avengers' may have opened in theaters before director Christopher Nolan's epic conclusion to the 'Batman' trilogy, 'The Dark Knight Rises' is by far the better movie.In the eternal battle between Marvel and DC superheros, Nolan and his cast are the clear victors in this round. I'm a movie freak.  I was looking over what was available in Billings, and the choices are great if you want to hit the theatre this weekend! I've seen "The" Avengers, and I highly recommend it!  If you get a chance, see it in Real D, it's amazing...

Kids love and look up to Captain America from ‘The Avengers,’ so it was a shock for this one boy to see his favorite superhero show up on his doorstep. Though the bigger shock came when he realized that this real-life strong man was actually his army dad returning from Afghanistan.
