Microsoft unveiled their new gaming console yesterday, and people were not impressed. Actually, they were pretty complain-y and grumpy about it. They don't like the name (Xbox One). Netflix has been doing so much backpedaling lately, it’s surprising the company hasn’t adopted a bicycle for its logo.

In the most recent reversal, Netflix announced Monday that it’s scrapping a plan to split its streaming and DVD-by-mail services into two different companies and would instead keep both under the Netflix name. The abandoned idea would’ve seen the mailed DVD service take on the name Qwikster, with a separate website and separate billing.

Spring is the time of re-birth and renewal. With daylight savings time going into effect this weekend, it brought out the cranky in some people. I'm guessing you get a lot of e-mail forwards of jokes and other forms of time wasters at work or home.

My friend Jerry sent this and since the legislature is in session formulating new laws and taxes to cover everything from medical marijuana to how to fund the schools, his cranky letter is worth sharing and laughing over. I'm betting Mark OR Paul could have written this.
