In this hustle and bustle we call life, it can sometimes be hard to get quality time with those you love so much. Last week was definitely one of those times for me.

I love my job so much, but it can be very time-consuming. With five little ones at home, I have to find ways to make it up for them and myself. This goes above the normal hum drum of watching TV or throwing the football at home. This is especially true when it comes to my 3-month-old little girl. She needs a little different type of daddy time.

She loves to be held and talked to. In return, she will talk your ear off. I guess you could say she kind of takes after her papa a little.

Saturday I decided to do something a little different with her. I had to go on air, but I didn't want to miss my time with this sweet little girl. In this case, we had to compromise.

Little McKenzie went to work with daddy and it actually was a great combination. I got to hold her, she got to be held, I talked on the radio with her and she got to talk back with me. It was a win-win in my book.

Do you ever take your kids to work? What do you do and how does it work out for you?

I want to hear your story. 406-248-5665
