If you haven't filed yet, today is the deadline to pay your taxes.

This morning, Mark said it best when he said, "April 15th, tax day.  I don't care what you paid.  If you paid taxes this year, you outta be mad.  There outta be accountability.  Elected officials should have to stand up and tell us what they've with our money individually and why they did it. And why they keep asking for more and where it's going.  You don't think we could save the tax payers some money by cutting spending and cutting government?  A lot of people either don't want to deal with it, or they're on the government nipple and they don't care."

Amen.

Paul said the first thing we should do is cut pension programs because we can't afford them.  Here's an interesting thought. Last week, the Flakes discussed the Equal Pay Bill.  Isn't ironic that some folks propose equal pay, but not equal taxation?  If there is equity in the workplace, there should be equity in the tax system.

Think about that when you're cutting that check to Uncle Sam today.
