If it seems like Taylor Swift and Eric Church are everywhere you look these days, you ain't seen nothin' yet. The two ubiquitous entertainers are not only all over the radio, internet and television, now they're also making their way into the sports world -- sort of. Brody Hoffman, a goalie for the University of Vermont, has placed images of both country singers on either side of his mask, as seen above.

Hoffman just finished his freshman season at Vermont. The Wilkie, Saskatchewan native previously played for Fort McMurray in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He's obviously a country music fan, but even so, his tastes are evidently very diverse -- the squeaky-clean Swift and the hardcore Church are about as far apart as you can get within the confines of the country genre.

We can understand how having Church's slightly menacing mug on his mask might help give Hoffman the psychological edge over his opponents on the ice, but we have to confess a certain amount of puzzlement at Swift's presence, since she's not exactly intimidating. Does her pristine countenance simply bedazzle the other team with its overwhelming goodness? Or maybe the guys on the other side are so busy checking her out that they just stand there like fools while Hoffman's team mates push them all over the ice.

Hoffman has three more years with the Catamounts. What other country stars would you like to see on his helmet in the future?
