Well, we didn't see this one coming. In a new interview, Kanye West has revealed plans to collaborate with Taylor Swift.

West famously interrupted Swift's speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs, when she won the award for Best Female Video. He jumped up onstage and cut her off to protest, saying, “Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time!"

The two were photographed together after the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb, 8), fueling speculation that they had finally buried the hatchet after six years, and now it looks like they're taking it a step further.

"Yeah, she wants to get in the studio and we’re definitely going to go in," the rapper tells Ryan Seacrest. "Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fanbase, I’m down to get in the studio and work. I don’t discriminate, I don’t have an elitism of music because of like how many Grammys or you know, the amount of ratings you get on an album."

While they might seem an odd musical pairing, West sees working with Swift differently.

"I that think everyone loves music whether they love hip-hop, alternative, country and if I could be involved in giving people any type of energy, advice in the studio, whether you’re Beyonce, whether you’re Taylor Swift, whether you’re Jay Z, whether you’re Beck, whoever, and they can be reciprocal with that, I’d like to be involved with that," he states.

So far there's no timeline for a Swift/West collaboration, but this news brings up the question, what will we call them? Swest? Tanye? Maybe even Swanye? Sound off in the comments below!
