Taylor Swift has been cultivating a new image after straightening out her head of curls for a sleeker, more sophisticated look and stepping out in a more mature wardrobe. These changes will also affect her concerts, as Swift is ditching fantasy for reality on her 2013 Red Tour, making her tour appear a little more grown up.

The superstar tells MTV, "I think that the visuals kind of portrayed on this tour will be, I guess, more grown-up and a little more mature than things we've done in the past. And I think on my previous albums and my previous tours I've really liked to operate in the element of fantasy and I think that this tour will incorporate a little more reality into the visuals, which is nice."

Sounds like on the Red Tour, there will be less focus on the Romeo and Juliet-themed 'Love Story' and more emphasis on the fact that the '22' hitmaker is indeed in her twenties, which Swift is probably ready for.

While the singer's Speak Now Tour was inspired by Broadway musicals, she says the Red Tour will be something else entirely. "I think from the Red Tour fans can expect the unexpected... I really like the element of surprise and I love incorporating that into the shows. I like for these tours to be completely different from every single one we've done."

Her much-anticipated, reality-driven run kicks off on Mar. 13 in Omaha, Neb. Fans will be able to see what surprises Swift has up her sleeve at the 58 different concerts scheduled for the 2013 Red Tour. Her quick rise to fame and the opportunity to play for 13 stadiums sound like a fairy tale for Swift, giving her a 'happily ever after.'
