Taylor Swift is just as obsessed as the rest of the country with the world champion U.S. women's soccer team, as she demonstrated at a gig in New Jersey Friday night (July 10).

The country-turned-pop superstar was performing at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. as part of her 1989 World Tour when she brought the members of the team -- who recently won the World Cup championship -- onstage during her performance of "Style." Four of the players hail from the Garden State.

According to the Associated Press, the fans went crazy for the players as they sang along with Swift while waving American flags. They also brought their trophy onstage and let the singer hold it.

"I wanna hold it one more time," Swift said afterward. The AP reports they huddled up in team formation at the end of the performance, and the audience chanted, "U.S.A.!" after they exited the stage.

That wasn't the only surprise Swift had up her sleeve. The singer -- who often has unannounced guests onstage at her shows -- brought out her famous friends Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge to re-create her "Bad Blood" video live, with each woman taking on one of the characters from the clip.

Supermodel Heidi Klum also made an appearance onstage at the performance, and Swift brought pop-R&B singer The Weeknd onstage to perform his current single, "Can't Feel My Face," taking some of the second verse for herself.

Swift is currently on the road promoting her first-ever pop album, 1989, which was the biggest-selling album of 2014.
