Thank You Mick

I worked with Mick at KGVO, after he was hired by my dad. Mick was calling Lady Griz games then and on the morning show as well. When Missoula Big Sky High School played their 1st football playoff game, Mick and I and another character named Doc, hopped in Micks Oldsmobile and drove to Great Falls to do the game. Terrible roads, an unheated press box, and having to drive back home after the game due to budget constraints made for a great story. You don't get into sports broadcasting for the money. You do it because you love it.
