We're teaming up with St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation to present the annual Call for Kids Radiothon to benefit St. Vincent Children's Healthcare. It all started this morning and runs until 7 p.m. Make sure you're listening to hear stories of courage, hope and strength...and of course to help this wonderful cause.

Money raised will benefit St. Vincent Children’s Healthcare, including the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

The radiothon benefits patients like Chloe Thompson, who became critically ill when she was just 1 week old. She was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit where she was treated for 3 1/2 weeks.

“We felt like the nurses and doctors and St. Vincent Children’s Healthcare were always one step ahead of where her condition was going,” said Chloe’s mom, Jen, in a prepared statement. “It honestly starts to feel like they’re part of your family. You’re going through this for so long. They made little posters for her out of foam letters that said, ‘Angel Baby’ and all these sweet things that we still have hanging on our wall.”

By donating, you ensure that the youngest, most fragile patients have the best technology, programs and facilities to heal close to home. You are giving children, like Chloe, the healthy futures they deserve.

Just one call can make a big difference, so be sure to listen and donate if you at all can. Every penny counts and every penny makes a difference right here in our community.

Thank you for your support!
