The new policy at the billings library will require parents’ permission for kids 13-17 to have access to the adult content on the public computers.  Councilman Chris Friedel said he doesn't believe the community wants people under 18 viewing online pornography online.  He's dead wrong.

The community doesn't want anyone viewing porn on the computers that our tax dollars are paying for, period.  Filter it out, they can still do their banking or pay their bills, but not get their jollies while the public is there.  They can do that on their own nickel.

There's no place for that in a library.
