Today the Flakes read some new research about driving.  It turns out more accidents occur between the hours of 5pm and 6pm.  Thursday is the most dangerous day to drive, December is the most dangerous month and Labor Day weekend is the most dangerous holiday.

We also learned that more deadly accidents happen between 2 and 3 in the morning, usually on dry roads and in clear weather.  Not surprisingly, drugs and alcohol are the most common causes of fatal accidents.

The study also said that women are involved in 4,000 more accidents than men every year.  Paul argues that this research proves men are safer drivers.  Mark wasn't touching that with a ten foot poll, pointing out that there are probably more women on the road.
