Mark had a conversation with his State Farm agent yesterday (his name wasn't Jake, he wasn't wearing khakis and it wasn't 3 in the morning) and he learned some interesting things about the storm chasers that have been crawling all over Billings like ants at a picnic.

According to his agent, State Farm alone has processed over 8,000 claims from the recent hail storm alone.  And that's just one company.  Here's the good news:  many of their representatives will finally be pulling up stakes and leaving town this weekend.

Another intriguing side note:  Paul recently had a conversation with an insurance adjuster from Buffalo, New York, who's spent the last 30 days in Billings.  She told him that the biggest claims were in the area south of town, between Billings and Hardin.  Which makes since to us.  For some reason, that little pocket of land between the Beartooth and Big Horn Mountains always seems to get hit hard.

So long, out of town insurance adjusters.  Safe travels on your way to the next city.  We'll see you again after the next storm.
