This morning we learned an important lesson about conservation.  If you flush your toilet after you pee, you are killing the environment and it will be all your fault when we run out of water.

There was an article in the news today about the amount of water we waste.  Research shows that 28% of all the water we used gets flushed down the toilet.  The EPA recommends that every household should have "low flow" toilets, which reduce the amount of water used from three gallons to 1.6 gallons per flush.

The best part of the story was the quote from the EPA spokesman, who said, "To save water, we should reduce the number of times we flush in our homes.  Remember, if it's yellow, let it mellow."

And while you're at it, quit washing your clothes too.  They say that washing machines are the second biggest water waster.
