Toby Griego Trial Update-4/10/14
Day four of the Toby Griego rape trial is winding down its fourth day of testimony. It seems as though it was more of an industrial trial day as the prosecution and defense questioned the employer of Toby Griego, Mattressland U.S.A. warehouse manager, Ken Taft. A Verizon representative was questioned as well, about a phone that was delivered to Griego.
The reason for Verizon testimony, is because an “app” that device experts found on Griego’s phone was called “Hide It Pro”. That app is what Griego hid images of girls on like the folder “Girls at Lake”.
Anna Ammons a registered nurse at Billings Clinic gave information to the attorneys about the exam she performed on Victim #4. Ammons said,
…the woman had bruising, abrasions, scratches and red lines on her body, consistent with the assault she described to authorities.
The court also presented a video for the attorneys, jurors and gallery to watch from Western Security Bank surveillance cameras on May 28, 2013 showing Victim #3, bloody, frightened and trying to retrieve money out of the ATM for the defendant, Toby Griego.
The prosecution was still calling witnesses late on Thursday afternoon. The defense most likely will begin their testimony, the week of April 14th.
