Today Is The 40th Anniversary Of The Debut Of Rubik’s Cube And Here’s How To Solve It [VIDEO]
I consider myself a relatively smart person. I have an I.Q of 138. I realize that sounds like bragging but I only point it out to demonstrate my own insecurities as far as my intelligence is concerned because no matter how smart a test seems to think I am or how smart I feel Rubik's cube always brings me back to reality.
Not only have I never been able to solve Rubik's Cube (I can get all the same colors on one side but that's it) I've even cheated by looking up videos on YouTube that give away the trick to solving the puzzle and I still can't make it work. I've scored over 13,000 on Word Mole, can do lightning quick calculations in my head and can get out of a life-sized maze faster than anyone but I can't figure out how to get all the colors lined up correctly on a stupid cube even when I'm told how.
If you've never been able to solve Rubik's Cube here's the video I watched... maybe it'll help you.
