Too Many Hail Claims in Billings and Not Enough Insurance Money
It has been about two months since Billings major hail storm hit our area on May 18th.Too many hail damage claims, means less insurance money overall.
Carol Metzler family received word recently that their insurance has now been canceled for her property in Billings Heights. The Metzler family have been insured by State Farm for over 30 years.

Going back to the Father’s Day Tornado in 2010 and severe weather, including a massive hail storm in 2012 and last year as well as the one in May of this year brought down golf ball sized hail and has forced insurance companies to cancel or not offer renewals to home owners in Billings.
Carol Metzler said,
what do I do? Put a faucet on Mother Nature? It was ridiculous.
County Commissioner, Jim Reno has heard from numerous Billings residents and has stated,
a home owner in Billings shouldn’t lose coverage because of hail.
