Two March Fires in Billings, Causes Released
Two structure fires that happened in Billings 14 days apart still suspicious in origin.
According to the Billings Fire Department, the fire on March 7th, 2014 on Adams street was intentionally set.
There was major damage to the exterior of the building as well as heavy damage to a workshop and detached garage. It is estimated the the blaze caused $60,000 in loss. The owner of the building did have insurance.
Billings Fire Marshal, Mike Spini said,
the cause of the March 21st fire at the site of JP Enterprises on First Avenue South has been classified as “undetermined”
The Billings Fire Department does know that the blaze started in the far east end of the building. The exact cause is still being investigated.
