We Have Simplified Our Listen and Win Codes!

We are always looking for ways to better improve our listeners and our VIP Member’s experience. We’ve recently been looking at out current Listen and Win program and how we could make it better.
With that in mind we have decided to revamp our listen and win codes for this station.
Starting tomorrow, Monday 12/10/2012 you will only have to worry about three entries per day.
We have moved the time slots to 9:00am, 2:00pm, and 5:00pm.
Instead of randomly generated words that have little to do with the actual station, the code is the name of the first artist played in the 9:00am hour, 2:00pm hour, and the 5:00pm hour.
So to give an example of how it works:
It’s 9:00am on Monday morning and we play a track from Luke Bryan.
That means that “Luke Bryan” is the code for the 9am Listen and Win Artist.
To receive your points you navigate to the same place you have before, the VIP Listen and Win section and enter “Luke Bryan” for the Cat Country’s 9AM Listen and Win Artist.
Now you may be asking yourself, “What if I miss the song? Or I don’t recognize the song being played?” I’ve got good news for you! We’ve got you covered!
Cat Country’s website has a handy section called “Recently Played” and you access it here.
This handy little section of the website will show you the last 50 played songs and when they were played on Cat Country 102.9!
So quick recap:
- VIP Points are now earned by identifying the first artist played at the top of specific hours.
- The first artist played at 9:00am, 2:00pm, and finally at 5:00pm will be the code to your daily points.
- If you happen to miss the first artist of the hour or do not recognize the song, you can access the “Recently Played” section of our website.
- There will no longer be any code words announced on-air.
