Self-Guided Bullet Should Send PETA Right Over the Edge [VIDEO]

For all of us avid hunters, there is new technology coming out that may or may not make our hunting outings more fruitful. Two researchers at Sandia’s National Laboratories created a self-guided dart-like bullet able to strike a target more than a mile away.
This could be so sweet! Check it out, the self-guided 4-inch bullet prototype has been successfully tested in both computer simulations and field testing — where bullet speeds have reached 2,400 feet per second.
Now keep in mind that this “magic bullet” is still a prototype and is not yet available on the market, so don’t rush out and try to buy it. We’re told that if it passes further testing conducted by a private firm, the bullet will be accessible to recreational shooters, law enforcement and the military.
Personally, I think that this would take all the fun out of tracking down your prey and seeking out the best shot to bring it down. My husband, however, thinks this would rock. Boring!
What do you think?
