What Are You Doing For Your Mother This Mother’s Day?
Mother’s day is this Sunday. What are you going to do to show her how much she means to you?
I have decided to show my mom how much I appreciate her and how much I love her by writing this letter to her.
My mom’s name is Carol and she is about 5 foot 1 and full of piss and vinegar as they say.
Before you ever met me you loved me, you brought me into this world with a smile and a tender heart.
Through the years though we have disagreed, you have always been my biggest advocate.
From a very early age you taught me that I shouldn’t let anyone make me feel less than I am or let them tell me I couldn’t do something.
You have always encouraged me to follow my dreams, even when I said I wanted to become a Radio Broadcaster.
Many said I would fail and that I wasn’t good enough, you told me to give it my best and that you knew I would be great.
Well Mom it’s been 30 years since you told me that and I have succeeded and I am doing great.
I can never repay you for all the time, love and patience that you have given me over my lifetime.
Even though we live in different places, please know that I think of you every day and I use the things you taught me when raising your grandchildren, Triston and Bailey.
I as most children do swear that we will be different than our parents were when we were growing up.
Well guess what, some days when I scold my kids or praise them, I have to look in the mirror to make sure it’s me and not you.
I hope you have the most wonderful Mother’s Day this Sunday and I will be calling you!
Love with all of my heart;
Your Daughter Karen
