What Did We Do Before Google?

Today a friend of mine and I were discussing submarine movies and couldn't remember which one Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington starred in together. Fortunately Google came to the rescue and the answer is Crimson Tide. Then we started discussing the web browsers we used before Google were lacking. For years prior I used Ask Jeeves and when I first got a computer it was Webcrawler... which believe it or not still exists. Just like it was then it is still an aggregator of other search engines. Back in the 90's that was helpful but it today's Google dominated world it's unnecessary. I wonder how long it'll be until someone comes up with a new better version (not Bing) where we'll look back and laugh at how we all used to use Google. Bwahahaha.
