Karen Gallagher/TSM Billings

I have been walking a few miles at least three nights a week lately, trying to get into better shape.  I try to pick a new route each night so that I can see the city (the west end) as I walk.  I passed by a street with a flag pole and two flags on it the other day.

One the American Flag in all of it's gory and the other a blue & black American looking flag.

At first I pondered what the blue and black flag meant, but then a few block down, I saw another one.

This second one was in the front yard and there was a Highway Patrol car parked in the driveway.

I then assumed (you know what they say about assuming) that the blue flag was a show of pride and support for law enforcement.

Am I correct?
