We've all been there...checking the account to find the our significant other bought something and now the money's GONE! It can be frustrating but who in your relationship is really the spender?

According to a new survey from Cision, we're TWICE as likely to say our significant other is the one who wastes money. 28% of people say their partner is the big, reckless spender in their relationship and only 13% of people admit they're the one blowing through cash. EVERYTHING you buy is important, even if no one else understands.

You can literally walk up to anyone and ask them who is spending the most money in their relationship and they will blame their partner. I guess we're just geared to do that.

The survey also found 27% of couples have separate bank accounts and one in seven people have ended a relationship over money.
