In the most unlikely pairing since Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito made 'Twins,' Will Smith is going to star in a movie with Kristen Stewart.

Variety reports that Will Smith is in final negotiations to join Kristen Stewart in 'Focus,' the latest film from the 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' team of Glen Ficarra and John Requa. Reportedly, Smith has been weighing his options for his next project for a few months now, and this decision didn't come lightly (did he recently watch 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2'?).

[UPDATE: THR reports that Stewart has quietly dropped out of 'Focus,' though no specific reason was given. Read the rest of the original article below.]

The film follows an inexperienced female con artist (Stewart), who teams up with a professional con man (Smith). Presumably, 'Odd Couple' quirks abound and sparks fly, etc. Originally, Ficarra and Requa wanted to re-team their 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling for the film, but they couldn't work around Gosling's busy schedule -- Ryan Gosling is busier than Will Smith. America has obviously spoken on that one.

Smith can next be seen in the sci-fi flick 'After Earth,' alongside his son, Jaden James. Stewart, on the other hand, hasn't been that busy post-'Twilight,' with 'Focus' seemingly the next project on her slate. We assume she's been standing outside Will Smith's house and pouting until he agreed to be in this movie.

Update: Kristen Stewart seems to have bowed out of the project, according to The Hollywood Reporter's sources, so perhaps they'll find someone closer to Smith's age for the leading lady.
