Will the Downtown Parking Garage Ever Get Finished?

This morning, the Flakes went on another rant about the astonishing lack of progress in completing the downtown Billings parking garage.  How long is it gonna take?

Paul is now convinced that it will be complete sometime in the year 2020.  Frankly, it should have been done months ago.  It's not like they're constructing an office building.  It's a parking garage for Pete's sake.

Yet, for some reason, they continue to milk this project for all it's worth.  Lately, they have been adding brick to the outside of the building.  We're not sure why a parking garage would need brick siding, but hopefully this is a sign that they are finally heading down the homestretch.  We'll believe that when we see it.

In the meantime, the never ending project continues.  And progress moves along at a snail's pace.
