**WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST TUESDAY**

WIND CHILL ADVISORY: NORTHEAST WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH WILL COMBINE WITH BELOW ZERO TEMPERATURES TO CREATE WIND CHILLS OF 20 TO 30 BELOW ZERO TODAY AND TONIGHT. WINDS WILL BECOME LIGHTER TOWARD TUESDAY MORNING.

IMPACTS: EXPOSED SKIN CAN FREEZE IN A MATTER OF MINUTES AT THESE WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES. PEOPLE WITH OUTDOOR INTERESTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PREPARE FOR DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS AND DRESS IN LAYERS TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM THE COLD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES.
