Five Great Gifts to Send From Montana
For those who, like me, have family outside of this glorious state, I thought it would be cool to look at some "Montana Gifts" to ship out this Christmas. I think I came up with a few ideas that are much cooler than Montana sweatshirts or souvenir mugs. Feel free to chime in with your own ideas.
For the record, I am not affiliated with any of the vendors listed below. I'm listing these items strictly as examples to give some ideas.
I had never tasted one of these until I first got to Montana back in 2005. It was a magical day. I can't imagine any non-diabetic person being unhappy getting a package of these in the mail.
Jams, jellies, bbq sauce...even huckleberry coffee. You see this stuff all over the place in Montana, but it's definitely a novelty in other parts of the country.
The paw print of our state animal. I have no idea what I would do with this thing, but I think it's awesome. I suppose the point of it is to look at it and be happy there is no grizzly bear attached. Definitely a unique gift idea.
I don't know much about jewelry, but many of the people who do say that Montana sapphires are some of the best in the world.
We've got plenty of great meat producers in this state with products that are ready to ship. Everything from elk sausage to pasture fed lamb chops can be sent to your meat loving family and friends.
If you've got a great idea, please share it. Everybody has someone on their list that is tough to buy for and your suggestion might be perfect.
