Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood teamed up for a holiday classic during Wednesday night's (Nov. 30) Christmas in Rockefeller Center tree lighting celebration. The pair performed "Baby It's Cold Outside" during the 2016 iteration of the annual event.

With Brooks in a blue suit and black cowboy hat and Yearwood wearing a black dress and burgundy coat, the husband and wife held hands throughout much of their performance, trading lines of the classic tune. The 2016 Christmas in Rockefeller Center tree lighting TV special celebrated the 84th annual lighting of the world’s most famous Christmas tree. This year's tree is 94 feet tall and adorned with over 50,000 multi-colored Christmas lights!

Brooks and Yearwood’s appearance on Christmas in Rockefeller Center in 2016 is especially appropriate: The couple released a holiday duets recordChristmas Together, on Nov. 11. Since 2014, Brooks has been on the road for his World Tour, with Yearwood along as his special guest; Yearwood herself, meanwhile, recently admitted that she is working on a new album.

Brooks' World Tour is on hiatus until late January; however, Brooks and Yearwood do have three unplugged concerts in Hawaii scheduled in December, as part of the 75th Commemoration of the Attack on Pearl Harbor. Brooks has said previously that he will wrap up the North American leg of his World Tour next year, then look at touring overseas. In addition to Christmas Together, the singer released a new album, Gunslinger, in late November.
