Griz Cut Holien

Sooner or later, all broadcasters get fired. At least that's the way it seems. And over at Missoula, Mick Holien's time has come. His contract for next year wasn't renewed. As broadcasters, we just accept that this is how it is for us. I doubt that Mick was ready to hang it up yet, but it wasn't his choice. Mick is a family friend and has been since my dad hired him away from newspaper and had him doing sports on KGVO and then doing play by play for the Lady Griz. And eventually, Grizzly football. He completely immersed himself in his work. I hope he finds something else to do that he likes. Good luck, Mick.
