The Billings baseball community is heartbroken after the unexpected passing of youth baseball coach Shaun Boyce.

Known for his infectious energy, love for the game, and devotion to the kids he coached, Shaun’s absence has left a deep void, not only on the field but in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind his loving wife, Staci, and their two children, Adalynn and Ethan.

Shaun Was More Than a Coach

Shaun wasn’t just a man with a whistle and a lineup card, he was the heart of the team. At Triple Play Academy and Riverside Little League, he was known for going above and beyond.

Whether he was calling out, “Come see me down here!” from the baseline or hyping the kids up with a pre-game pep talk, Shaun had a way of making every player feel like a star. He coached with heart, led with kindness, and gave everything he had, both on and off the field.

A Life Lived with Love

Shaun lived loud and loved harder. Friends and fellow parents recall how he’d sneak a moment to wave to Staci in the bleachers with a simple “Hi babe,” and how he cheered just as loudly for another kid’s big hit as he did for his own.

Sean's love for his family and his community was impossible to miss. He celebrated every win with joy and was always there, showing up, giving back, and reminding others they mattered.

Time to Show Up for Shaun’s Family

Now, the community he served so faithfully is stepping up to support the ones he loved most. A GoFundMe created in Shaun’s honor has already raised over $20,000, offering much-needed relief for Staci, Adalynn, and Ethan as they begin to navigate life without him. The fundraiser is more than a financial gesture, it’s a way to show how deeply Shaun touched lives.

Together, We Rally

Whether you knew him from the dugout, the bleachers, or simply by reputation, it’s clear Shaun’s legacy is one of selflessness, passion, and love.
