Nominate an Outstanding Billings Student and They Could Win $1,000!
Every community has young people who shine a little brighter. They’re the students who pour their hearts into the classroom, give their all on the field, or show kindness in ways that ripple far beyond themselves. This school year, Townsquare Media Billings and Gerstner Adam Law are stepping forward to recognize these students as our Most Valuable Pupils.
Recognition Builds Confidence and Lasting Impact
When we take the time to celebrate kids, it does more than just bring a smile, it lights a fire in their hearts. Being recognized tells them that their hard work, kindness, and determination are noticed and valued. That kind of encouragement sticks with them, inspiring them to keep doing good not just today, but well into the years ahead.
How to Nominate a Most Valuable Pupil in Billings
Each week, we’ll select one nominated student from right here in the Billings area to spotlight as a Most Valuable Pupil. Parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, and guardians are all invited to nominate a student who deserves the recognition. All it takes is a photo and a short note explaining why this student stands out.
Weekly Spotlights to Celebrate Local Students
The weekly chosen student will be featured on the radio and online, giving our community a chance to applaud their accomplishments together. Each weekly MVP will also receive a small prize from our radio stations, a fun way to say thank you for inspiring us all.

One Billings MVP Will Earn $1,000 Grand Prize
At the end of the school year, one of these amazing MVPs will be selected to receive $1,000. Imagine the possibilities. Maybe they’ll use it to start saving for college or trade school, or maybe they’ll choose something meaningful to them right now. However it’s spent, that money is more than a prize, it’s a symbol of the pride our community has in its youth.
Shaping Futures Beyond the Classroom
This is about more than recognition or rewards. It’s about showing our kids that who they are and what they do makes a difference. It’s about building them up so that long after they’ve left the classroom, they carry with them the belief that they can change the world. That’s a gift no one can take away.

Nominate a Billings Area Student Who Inspires You
Think about the students in your life who inspire you. Maybe it’s the quiet leader who helps others without ever asking for recognition. Maybe it’s the athlete who lifts up their teammates or the student who refuses to give up no matter the challenge. Take a few minutes to nominate them here and help us cheer for the next generation of leaders!
