A recent study revealed which states sell homes at the quickest rate and according to the data, Montana is near the top. Cash For Home, a website that focuses on selling your home quickly took a look at each state to determine how long the average home is on the market.

According to the research, Montana homes spend an average of just under 22 days on the market before they sell. That puts Montana in the number 2 position. The only state where houses are selling faster is Mississipi.

For those looking for a deal and aren't opposed to leaving Big Sky Country, you might want to check out Oregon or Ohio as both states have the longest wait when it comes to home sales with the average between the two right at 43 days on the market.
