Big Sky Resort Makes Massive Announcement For Ticket Holders
This news is massive for many who have had to pay extra for this service.
Ski Resorts in Montana
Summer is ending, and cooler temperatures are on the way.
Many locals are excited to break out their ski and snowboard gear for the upcoming winter season.
Folks can't wait to pile into their cars and head to their favorite ski area to shred fresh powder. There's nothing better than standing on top of a mountain and seeing the beauty of Montana around you.
Montana has some local ski areas, but some resorts make the ski or snowboard experience even better.
The one resort that does this better than most places in America is Big Sky Resort.
Big Sky Resort
Big Sky Resort is possibly the best ski resort in America.
Here are a few things that Big Sky Resort has that make it the best ski or snowboard experience.
- Largest skiing area in North America
- Heated ski lifts with covers
- Fast ski lifts to help with lines and get you on the hill sooner
These are a few of the things Big Sky Resort has improved over the past several years to make the ski experience top tier.
The only issue locals and travelers have had with Big Sky Resort is the prices of season passes or day lift tickets.
They can be a little steep.
One main issue was your day lift ticket or season pass didn't include access to the Lone Peak Tram, which takes you to the top of the mountain.
You had to pay an extra fee for that access.
Not anymore.
Lone Peak Tram Included
Unofficial Networks announced Big Sky Resort day and season pass price will include access to the Lone Peak Tram.
Why the change?
The new Lone Peak Tram can accommodate more people to help get more folks on the slopes.
Those with an IKON or Mountain Collective pass will still have to pay for access to the tram, but it's worth the money.
