‘Nosey’ Is Laid Back And Ready To Adopt In Billings
Each week we feature an adoptable pet from Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, and every Wednesday it's always a surprise on what kind of dog we'll get to meet. Sometimes they're young and hyper, bouncing around our studio, exploring every nook and crumb, barely sitting still long enough to take a few non-blurry pictures.
Other times we'll get a calmer, more mature pet from Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter. Nosey lands in this category.
Meet sweet Nosey.
Nosey is an 11-year-old bully mix. He is one of the calmest dogs we've featured in a long time. Derek Wulf, Humane Outreach Coordinator at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter said Nosey arrived at the shelter as a stray.
Nosey is very laid back, bordering on timid.
He's gentle and settles down quickly in car rides, said Wulf. We think he'd make a great pet for someone who isn't super active and just wants a loving companion to chill with.
The handsome, older dog had a microchip linked to contact information in Colorado. However, his info was not updated and the shelter was unable to contact his former human(s). Per protocol, Nosey was held in the stray room for several days and recently hit the adoption floor at the shelter.
REMINDER: Get your pets chipped and keep your contact info updated. YVAS provides the service for just $20, with no appointment necessary.
Nosey is a senior dog, so he qualifies for the shelter's Seniors for Seniors program. Anyone age 65 or over can adopt him at a discount that matches your age. Check out all of the pets currently available for adoption at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter HERE.
