The evening after posting ChatGPT's cowboy poetry, I wondered if the AI can generate trivia questions.  I host a game at the GrandStand Sports Bar, and the prep before takes me at least two hours per category, and there are four rounds each week.

So this is an experiment.  The category is Wyoming.  The parameters are ten trivia questions about the state, no longer than two sentences per question.

Took only a few seconds.

Wyoming Trivia Questions

1.  What is the capital city of Wyoming?

2.  Which national park, known for its geothermal features, is located primarily in Wyoming?

3.  What is Wyoming’s nickname, reflecting its rugged terrain and frontier history?

4.  Wyoming was the first state to grant women the right to vote. In what year did this occur?

5.  What is the highest peak in Wyoming, and where is it located?

6.  Which famous American cowboy and showman had a significant influence on Wyoming's history and tourism?

7.  What is the name of the large, scenic basin in Wyoming known for its high elevations and diverse wildlife?

8.  Which U.S. president signed the act that established Yellowstone as the first national park, located in part in Wyoming?

9.  What large, historic Wyoming event, which took place in 1890, marked the end of the Indian Wars?

10.  Which river, known for its picturesque views and recreational opportunities, flows through Jackson Hole and into the Snake River?

You know how I run this; the answers are further down the page.

Questions need revising

The players at my game would likely love the first two questions.  Then here come the hardball questions.  Multiple choice or True/False would lighten up the difficulty.

Are any of the answers incorrect?  Please let me know.

Will I use AI for my trivia game?  Maybe, but for certain I will verify the answers.  The players will waste no time correcting me.
