Since 1992 THIS Montana county has basically predicted who would become the President of the United States. And they did it AGAIN this election here in 2024.

On Tuesday, we had a caller ask a great question: why the heck is the Biden Justice Department in Blaine County, Montana for election day? I reached out to the USDOJ and asked another question- why isn't the Biden DOJ in other reservation counties here in Montana? The Biden DOJ responded to my email and said they "decline to comment."

Anyway, I got to chatting with Richie Melby. He's a great Hi Line Montana native who now works for Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen (he did an awesome job covering sports for TV news prior to this gig). He says, by the way- did you know that Blaine County has basically predicted the presidential election every year going back to Bill Clinton in 1992? Here's the numbers:

2020 Biden

2016 Trump

2012 Obama

2008 Obama

2004 Bush

2000 Bush

1996 Clinton

1992 Clinton

Their track record goes back even further. Cody McCracken had the story for the Blaine County Journal News-Opinion back in October.

Now that President Trump was declared the winner in the 2024 presidential race, I went and looked at the numbers on the Montana Secretary of State's website. Blaine County, Montana did it again. They went for President Trump. They've gotten every presidential race since 1992. (That's over 30 years ago for us 80s/90s kids who forget how old we are)

For those who don't know, Chinook is the county seat for Blaine County. The Chinook Sugarbeeters!

Montana Crew at UFC 300 in Las Vegas with Anthem Snacks

A crew of Montanans tagged along with Anthem Snacks, the official jerky of UFC, to attend UFC 300. We also got to get an inside look at UFC's Performance Institute facility.
