While looking into Linda Ronstadt's career accomplishments, I learned a couple of things that I didn't know. While selling over 100 million albums worldwide, she only had ONE single go all the way to number one. 1975's "You're No Good" was the only one. And by 1978, she was the highest paid woman in rock and is believed, by many, to be the first solo female act to sell out arenas. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band used her vocals on their hit "American Dream". She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame last year. She was inducted by Glenn Frey of the Eagles, who worked as her guitar player/harmony singer (along with Don Henley) before they formed the Eagles. Now if I could just get John Denver into the Country Music Hall Of Fame.
