A fire that broke out shortly after midnight Monday caused an estimated $200,000 in damage to an occupied home at 2418 Brook Hollow Drive, according to Assistant Fire Marshal Bill Tatum. No one was injured.

Firefighters were called to the home at 12:39 a.m.

The fire damaged the rear exterior of the structure, extended into the attic space through the eaves and smoked up the interior of the home, according to Tatum.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
