Real OR Fake Tree?

This is the week that my family and I finally get our tree put up. As long as I can remember a real live tree has been a part of my family Christmas.

When I was a kid, the trees weren't that great. More like a tall sage brush. None the less, it was real. The smell, the sticky sap and falling pine needles are just a few of the things I remember from those days.

Our first Christmas tree in Memphis was actually from Oregon. Really nice and big. It was a great looking tree. However, it dried out so quick it didn't make it to the big day even with a trimmed stump and lots of water.

There has been ups and downs with the live Christmas tree but they've all been memories my family and I can sit back and smile at.
