Pool Hours Are Changing as Summer Winds Down in Billings

When MontanaFair rolls into town, it’s always a bittersweet sign that summer in the Magic City is on its way out. And right on cue, the City of Billings Parks and Recreation Department is starting to wind down the pool season. Some facilities are closing earlier than in previous years.

As many of the department's 60+ lifeguards head back to high school or college, adjustments to pool hours are necessary to keep safety the top priority, said Jake Milliron, City of Billings Public Works Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator, in a press release.
