If you hear tons of sirens or see a large police presence moving through Billings on Saturday (12/17) don't be alarmed. It's just the 3rd annual Shop with a Cop parade. Fifty local kids will get to enjoy a Christmas shopping spree, thanks to community fundraisers.

Thousands of families still struggle to afford housing, and many make poverty-level wages.

Had a cheap lunch out at COR enterprises today and since there are likely plenty of people who don't know anything about this organization, I thought I'd share. COR's primary goal is to provide training and employment opportunities to people with various disabilities. Today we got news that the government will reopen. Although it is potentially a temporary (3 week) situation, it does mean that many government employees will be receiving some much needed relief in the form of the paychecks that they had already earned.

Sadly, the owner of Pug Mahon's, Bill MacIntyre, has passed away and Pug Mahon's will be closing its doors after Saturday's service.

This past Saturday, April 28th, Chase Hawks held their annual Bike Day at the Albertsons on 5th and Central. Here are this year's stats: They gave away 46 brand new bicycles that they first had to assemble on Friday night. They fitted 108 kids with brand new helmets...

For the 1500 meals we are putting together this year we need to raise 40,500 dollars. As of Monday we took in about $5000. As you can see we are still a ways away from our goal. I know it's early but we always worry.  Pool your money and let us know this week...

'Community''s infamous "Six Seasons and a Movie" mantra has proven increasingly accurate with each surprise renewal, and while NBC has yet to formally decide on a sixth, and likely final season for the Greendale gang, new movie rumors suggest 'Fast and Furious' (and former 'Community) director Justin Lin may be eyed to helm a theatrical venture.

This past week we saw 'Community' returning to its Dungeons & Dragons roots with latest concept episode "Advanced Advanced Dungeons & Dragons," but its next gimmick will prove far more ambitious. 'Community' season 5 has soldiered on admirably in the wake of both Donald Glover and Chevy Chase's departures, though the chances of a sixth season (and, of course, the movie) remain somewhat murky. We might have one bit of good news, though, as a new rumor suggests Glover might make a quick return to the hallowed halls of Greendale, at least for the finale!

Earlier this week we saw what might prove to be the (yellow) king of 'True Detective' parodies, but the latest to emerge on HBO's buzzworthy drama is at least a close second. Watch 'Community' stars Joel McHale and Jim Rash take on the mush-mouthed roles of Rustin Cohle and Martin Hart in 'The Soup''s take on 'True Detective'!

'Parks and Recreation' and 'Community' may not be the strongest performers on Thursday nights, but remain among NBC's brightest jewels. To that end NBC president Bob Greenblatt has all-but-assured that 'Parks' will return for a seventh season later on this year, hinting at a strong possibility for 'Community''s renewal as well.
