Residents who received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Cedar Hall in MetraPark, will get their second dose at a different location, according to a press release from Unified Health Command (UHC).

Residents of Yellowstone County, who are in the 1A or 1B priority group, can make online appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccination at the free clinic next week.

There will be five individual clinics next week inside Cedar Hall at Metra Park, and appointments can be made online.

The average number of positive COVID-19 cases in Yellowstone County has dropped to its lowest level since September 2020, with a plan to have a "large" vaccination event next week.

According to the survey, a "great majority" of residents around Billings "definitely or probably plan" to receive the vaccine.

According to the latest map update as of Monday, January 25, 2021, there have been 14,566 residents of Montana that have been fully immunized statewide.

Billings Clinic, St. Vincent Healthcare, and RiverStone Health have only received "approximately 2,100 first doses of vaccine," and the demand is currently outpacing the demand, according to UHC.

Free drive-through COVID-19 testing will now be available from 8:30am until 2:30pm weekdays, at RiverStone Health's testing site located at 2173 Overland Avenue in Billings

The press release from RiverStone Health states that residents will be expected to "determine and maintain adequate precautionary measures by virtue of their own judgement."

Montana Governor Greg Gianforte has announced that confronting the COVID-19 virus is his "top priority as governor, and laid out his administrations approach to vaccinations, and how the mask mandate will eventually be rescinded.

RiverStone Health is encouraging all residents to take the 5-minute survey, which they say will help in the planning of vaccine distribution.
