With rain in the forecast through the weekend, we've compiled a list of activities you can get out and enjoy, regardless of what Mother Nature drops on the Treasure State.
We've already had a lot to celebrate this weekend. Friday was National Montana Day. Star Wars fans had "May the 4th Be With You." History was made on Saturday when the horse that crossed the finish line first at the Kentucky Derby did NOT win the race. But today, May 5, will likely be the best day to party of them all.
The Magic City Rollers season opener vs. Butte's Copper City Queens happens this Saturday at the Shrine. Doors open at 6 and the match starts at 7.
If you've never checked out roller derby, here's a great chance to not only see it for the first time, but to support our local team!
Besides the many Easter Egg Hunts and Easter Brunches going on this weekend, here are some other activities and events happening around Southeastern Montana.
Jobs Jamboree is this Wednesday, March 20th at the MetraPark Pavilion. Veterans and their families get early access at 11 a.m. The event opens to the general public at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
Whether it's the snow and cabin fever, or the fact that St. Patrick's Day is coming up, I've found myself thinking back on some epic pub crawls I've had with friends over the years. I've always liked heading to the bar with a few buddies over kickin' back with one at home, but maybe I'm just an extrovert.
The "Magic City" will be a hot bed of entertainment this weekend with a number of events and shows going on around town to keep Montanans active during the winter months.
It's estimated that over 6,000 people enjoyed a full day of entertainment at 'Family Life Expo' held inside the Expo Building at MetraPark on Saturday.
We do quite a few annual events here at Cat Country, but there is only one that my daughter demands I take her to: Family Life Expo. Sometimes I actually have some sort of job to do there, but we go whether I'm working or not.
