Wow, I guess I didn't realize that there was a national Sons and Daughters day. Guess that makes me a non-caring, forgetful, unappreciative dad. NO, it doesn't. The sad thing is we shouldn't need a special day for sons and daughters.

I've told you before. These people are nuts. They're absolutely crazy. They want to call EVERYBODY racist. It's like that song from The Lego Movie- "Everything is Awesome." Except for with these folks on the Left, the song is- "Everything is racist."

The LA Times on Monday morning reports that you will be able to fly from Burbank, CA to Bozeman, MT for $38 round trip. The rental car? That will cost you over $2,000 for the week. What about Billings? Wait for it...

First off, you have to start with the right meat. It needs to be 80/20. I know many are tempted to buy the extra lean stuff either for health reasons, or because they assume since it costs more it tastes better...not the case with burgers. If you start with that 93% lean stuff, you'll end up with dry, crumbly burgers. As far as seasoning the meat goes, here's all I do:

I wonder if kids even know what Memorial day is for? Today's educational system does not necessarily like to acknowledge the U.S. military and its history.

To me, Memorial Day is the most important holiday we have because it is about remembering brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. The American Revolution: 50,000 lives lost. The War of 1812: 19,505 lives lost. The Mexican American War: 17,435 lives lost...

As most of us headed out of the door after work today for a long weekend, what was on your mind?

As I sit here reviewing Facebook and seeing all of the Memorial Day messages of hope and acknowledgements for our U.S. Military, I think of all the soldiers, men and women that I know.

As the nation prepares to pay its respects to those who died in active military service on Memorial Day, the day will no doubt carry an extra special significance for Montanans. Veterans are held in high regard in Montana throughout the year, not just on Memorial Day...

I think it's obvious as a nation that we don't do enough to recognize our soldiers and the sacrifices they and their families make to keep America free.
