Well, Mother's Day is upon us. I never quite understood the importance of this particular Sunday when I was young, like a lot of kids don't. But, I do now. And I'm lucky because I have TWO moms. My folks divorced when I was young and when my dad remarried, he got a good one...

Mother's Day is tomorrow and being a mom I get to pick what I want to do on my "special day", this according to my children and my husband.

This Sunday is Mother's Day.

I want to wish my Mom, Carol Gallagher a Happy Mother's Day.

To celebrate Mother's Day weekend, I decided to let my Mom pick the Favorite Friday Song of the Week!  Do you know what she picked?  It's one of my own personal favorites from the "King of Country", George Strait!

Taylor Swift is known for her confessional songs regarding her romantic relationships, but she is also able to celebrate other interpersonal connections through a different artform. The singer has released a new line of Mother’s Day cards via American Greetings, which feature her imagery of her tunes, like ‘Stay Beautiful’ and ‘The Best Day,’ the latter of which she penned for her own mom, Andrea.

It’s just about the sweetest thing when your husband and kids give you a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day. A thoughtful husband will get them from a store. A thoughtful kid will get them from your yard. Either way, the sentiment is adorable and always well received.

Mother's Day is May 13.  The day before Mother's Day, Cat Country 102.9 is joining Goldsmith Gallery Jewelers in front of  Kohl's for the first ever Mother's Day Diamond Dig to benefit Make A Wish Montana.  There will be over.....
