We have our Flakes Trip every year. And we go to some pretty awesome places. Places that feature sunshine and free drinks. But never once in all these years has anyone ever suggested going to Canada.

There are many names for what I did Sunday morning. "Go for a cruise", "Driveabout" and "Go see some scenery". I prefer to call it "Windshield therapy". You start with no destination. And while you're driving backroads you take to turn down roads that you either haven't been on in a long time or have never been down...

I had to Google my longest trip. In 1984 a buddy and I decided to go on "The Great Quest For Truth". We started in Missoula. Then we drove to stay with another friend in Las Vegas. In a 1978 Mustang King Cobra. Death Valley is a good time in a car with no air conditioning.

I took a trip to North Dakota with some buddies this weekend. Here's how it went.

In my travels, I've come across some cool bars, but I wanted to see if there were any bars in Montana that had that same unique flair. As it turns out, there definitely are.

Our package included a night in a condo on the Powder Horn property, a gift card to Rib and Chop, and also a gift card for fuel. The second round (of 27 holes because they HAVE 27 holes!) was a no-brainer for us. The course was in beautiful condition.
