Today is the official change of season from summer into fall?

Scotty McCreery isn’t the only country superstar celebrating the Season 11 finale of ‘American Idol.’ Reba McEntire is set to perform on tonight’s episode (May 23) with country hopeful Skylar Laine, who placed No. 4 this season after being eliminated a few weeks ago.

It hasn’t been long since Season 2 of ‘The Voice‘ ended, with Team Blake Shelton member Jermaine Paul taking home the crown. But already, NBC is making plans for the next season of the hit singing competition, and network chief Bob Greenblatt has announced that the show will now air twice a year.

We’re still in the middle of the audition process for ‘America’s Got Talent,’ so at this point audiences are prepared to see anything from the sweet to the absolutely absurd. What better place to find that all than in San Francisco?

Even those who haven’t been watching ‘The Voice‘ this season will want to tune into the Season 2 finale. A star-studded line-up — including Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber, Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Flo Rida — is on the slate for the May 8 final episode.

It’s that time again, country fans! The 2012 season of ‘American Idol’ will kick off this January. It’ll be the show’s 11th season and let’s hope that this season follows the same trajectory as the last, when the final two contestants were country artists! Will Scotty McCreery‘s heir apparent make it to the top? Will we find our next Lauren Alaina? It’s certainly an exciting prospect, since countr
