Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the lead Democrat in the United States Senate, traveled to Montana last weekend to pressure Gov. Steve Bullock (D-MT) into running for the Senate in the 2020 elections.
He could've taken an easy shot at liberal Governor Steve Bullock (D-MT), who just ended his long-shot presidential campaign early Monday morning. Instead, Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) was very gracious when asked for his reaction to the news.
Last week Governor Steve Bullock was mocked as the "out of towner" governor. This week, he's calling it quits. Bullock is officially ending his presidential race. And he's not running for the US Senate either. (According to a spokesperson at least)
SLF: "Does Steve Bullock agree with Mauro's slander of military veterans lacking "courage" to serve in public office? If not, why didn't he speak up when he had the chance?"
"Montana needs Governor on workers' side." While you may disagree with the contents of the op-ed, the headline nails it: we haven't had a governor on the workers' side in years. Instead, Gov. Steve Bullock has done the bidding of the deep-pocketed, radical environmental groups.
"At least the man is always sporting a fashionable pair of alligator boots." That's how Tristan Justice sums up Governor Steve Bullock (D-MT) in a piece for TheFederalist.com titled: "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? 2020 Democrats Come Up Short on Masculinity."
Markay: "Even as other candidates such as Warren and Sanders decline donations from federal lobbyists, Bullock has accepted their assistance in fundraising for his campaign. And despite his career-long crusade against political “dark money,” some of those same lobbyists represent clients that pour cash into non-disclosing political groups."
It's not exactly breaking news, but Governor Steve Bullock (D-MT) has now made his run for president official. You can find his full announcement video below.
